Enter Website hell...

After thinking long and hard, for a day, and then putting the thought of "the website" issue off for a few weeks, Saturday it came time to build one. I wasn't going to shell out the big bucks to have someone else do this for me. You all know that I have ZERO experience in this. Heck, I can't even get my Outlook to work the way it should! Anyhow I met another photographer in Oregon, from my photography group, who had a great website. So, I sent her an email and she pointed me in the right direction. Without her help the site you all see, would not be there!

There is where it all started...Saturday afternoon I started to build it with a few pictures and worked on the format. Then I got brave and used my FTP server and uploaded to my web hosting (see I am not even sure if these are the correct terms...derrr). And IT WORKED...holy shit, it worked! I was amazed, it wasn't supposed to be that easy. So I worked on it until the following morning until 4:30AM! I was great! So I quickly transferred to my web hosting via FTP server and I got to view it online. Wow, couldn't believe I did it! So I shut down and took my vampire self to bed.

When I got up a couple hours later my site was GONE!!! I started messing with it and knew that my bad situation was just going further down the crapper. After a few hours of this I realized to had to get Annie to cheer tryouts...NOW. When I got back I called my web hosting people (as I was unable to communicate via IM). The girl helped me out and walked me through it all. I was able to determine what I did wrong (ya, won't be doing that again).

So yesterday I spent time rebuilding. I saved my files so it went fairly easy. I still have images to add and some text to insert. But at least it is coming together and there is some eye candy for you all to look out and tune to hear! So for the next few days there will be some small additions, changes and tweaking.

I managed to get a few shots in of Annie and Aidan enjoying some bubbles yesterday...
